Fantastic location and views. Lovely spacious comfortable rooms. Innovative excellent restaurant. But most of all the nicest and kindest staff I have ever met at a hotel. Ask them to show you their amazing greenhouse and vegetable garden

Nothing at all although we must stay longer next time

Fabulous little piece of history we stayed in an enormous room Rose. Pristine gardens, infinity pool, that was very cold, but with views to die for... The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was great we only had dinner once and it was also nice. The bungalows are up in the mountains it's a 20 mins tuk tuk drive down to Kandy. So it's good to plan day trips down and stay the whole day if you don't want to be travelling up and down. Beautiful hotel highly recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra.

Very quiet location, high up with good views. It's not easy to get down though, you will need transport. The facilities were good and we had spa treatments. The main thing was the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff. They transformed a good stay into a great one

Sauna was difficult to get wirking

The up the mountain air and feel is incredible. The property and the gardens are stunning. Really beautiful and outstanding views. We loved the pool and the garden but we stayed in. Food is good and the help of the staff is exceptional. It’s a very quiet and remote place so you will be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. The guests who stayed apart from us were all ages and backgrounds and that felt really good.

The gardens and pool are lovely. the staff are friendly and we had a great massage.

the wooden cabin is huge, however dissapointing quality. ex if you shake yourself in the bathroom the whole cabin shakes! Not clean for a 5 star; moist in the shower and outside table dirty. Not 5 star at all. The food was the worst in our two week stay in sri lanka. This was a one off treat for us as we stayed mainly in guest houses.

Relaxing, peaceful, set in manicured gardens overlooking the botanical gardens and the city of Kandy in the distance.

Zero

The location is lovely up on the hill overlooking Kandy and close to the station . The pool was lovely and had a great view but it’s small and there were limited sun loungers for the no of guests . The breakfast on the lawn was the highlight and they made an effort to add Christmas decorations to the lounge area .

It was very old fashioned and the furniture wasn’t very comfortable . Could do with more areas for guests to relax .
