The Barnsbury House

Nice, modern, and clean room out of the crazy noise of the city.

You could hear everything in the hotel hallways. We wanted to get up really early to drive to and hike Horton's Plain but some guests in the hallway were noisy late into the night. You could hear it all, and dogs barking outside, in the room.

The room was very roomy and the shower had really good hot water. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff very helpful.

Lovely view comfy room. Coffee and tea available downstairs 24hrs. Great friendly staff.

The view from the terrace is nice. Breakfast was good. The pancakes were amazing! So fluffy

So loud! The insulation is terrible it felt like were sleeping right next to a flock of pigeons. It is very far outside the city, the lake really isn‘t that impressive.

It's a super place. Nice comfy rooms and bathroom, good breakfast, kind and helpful staff.

Pleasant stay, a short TukTuk ride from the centre. Friendly staff, the dinner they cooked for us at rather short notice was very tasty. They told us what the fridge had to offer, we settled for vegetarian, and ended up with various delicious curries. Rooms were big and comfy, the only drawback was the frosted glass door to the hall which let the lights on the landing shine through at night, shouldn't bother anyone who prefers a nightlight ;-)
