Warm welcome, great location, friendly and attentive staff. Lovely, homely and well thought out decor and furnishings. Superb bed! Food was great and the location beautiful and peaceful.

Quaint 18th century inn, beautifully updated and clearly well supported by the local community. Excellent food.

In the middle of nowhere, access made much more difficult by local road closures and diversions. Hopefully these will be resolved shortly

We loved the decor, the bedroom was modern and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Mark is very attentive, giving lots of tips on local areas, and making sure we had lots of choice with our meals including a fabulous breakfast. This was one of the highlights!

Took a punt for our 21st wedding anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Excellent evening meal (pork belly was amazing) in the pub followed by a superb freshly cooked breakfast. Very spacious, well-appointed room with a very comfy bed and pillows. Nespresso coffee machine with more than enough pods for a night's stay. The staff were all very friendly and the service first-class. Great attention to detail and even remembered it was our wedding anniversary. Overall, excellent value for money and we look forward to staying again.

Check-in could have been a little earlier but it was out fault for not confirming the check-in time of 5pm when we booked, so not the fault of the property! Other than that, there was nothing we didn't like except we were only there for one night!
