The Fiddichside Inn

The location was outstanding.

Great location, right by the River Fiddich, 10 minutes walk to the village down the Speyside Way. And what's more, attached to a small bar/pub even though only opened in the afternoons.

Some of the kitchen equipment was past its best and not usable. But we managed to make breakfast without much difficulty. All in all, no complaints worth talking about.

Ganz wunderbar, sehr zu empfehlen und ein super Pub gleich nebenan! Tolle Menschen!

This is the perfect getaway in the most delightful little town. It is such a picturesque setting, easy walk to Highlander Inn for dinner and a stroll along the Speyside way.

We arrived late Sunday as the pub was closing, it was then closed Mon and Tues nights - a shame as we were looking forward to spending time there. Did meet the proprieters who were delightful and offered us a drink as they were closing up.

The location and home were lovely! We were there when the pub was closed, so it was quiet and private, but we would have loved to have a wee dram and meet new friends.

Prachtige locatie en via een mooi pad langs de Spey is het een kort eindje lopen naar bijvoorbeeld The Highlander Inn om wat te eten en te drinken. Ruime kamers, redelijk goed bed. Fijne douche in een van de 2 badkamers (de andere heeft alleen een bad). Makkelijk en gratis parkeren. Keukentje zag er goed uit, maar niet gebruikt.

De bar was net gesloten toen wij rond 6 uur aankwamen, terwijl het tot 8 uur open zou zijn. Dat was wel jammer, want was wel benieuwd. Meubilair is behoorlijk gedateerd/versleten soms zelfs.
