Nyati Hill Cottages

What a magical spot. Such a gorgeous view across the national park, and far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city that you feel as if you’re in the bush and can quite easily relax - yet close enough to enjoy many of the city’s main attractions. The staff are also amazing and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of. They happily arranged a last minute meal for us and took it upon themselves to sort out our issues with our car rental.

Местоположение удивительное, прямо в национальном парке. На берегу напротив, через ручей, приходил носорог. С вьюпоинта видели стадо зебр и антилоп. Очень уютные домики. Приходят бабуины, требуется осторожность по утрам и запирать решетки/двери на ночь, это здорово добавляет адреналина )) Но хозяева следят за безопасностью. Мы в восторге!

Дороговаты обеды и ужины от шеф повара, хоть и вкусно.

From the terrace you can see animals in Nairobi national park. We saw a rhino and her baby, and a lion on the drive as we left for a game drive! Also had baboons around our rooms. The staff helped arrange a chef for meals and put us in contact with a brilliant safari guide. They also packed up our breakfast so we could take it on our drives.

We booked a two bed family suite and didn’t realise the rooms weren’t attached. We have very young children so ended up having to share a room all together which was quite snug! Luckily we had the living room too. The WiFi didn’t really work, but actually was lovely not having it other than needing it for some travel admin.
