the staff were nice, cleanness, very good value for money.

The Taxi fare, too expensive, 27 $ to go to the south gate national park, that’s totally overpriced for local standards.

The compound is in a remote area, beautyful but rather small. The houses are nicely done, with beautiful flowers around and the rooms were clean but the mosquito net unfortunately had holes. I was shown my room/house at arrival by a not so friendly - I don't know who he really was. He was the only staff I met. Nobody else there. Breakfast ingredients were shown to me in the kitchen that wasn't attached to the room but an extra kitchen house opposite my room, so whenever I need something I had to go outside, also at night. I had to make breakfast myself another thing I didn't expect. I thought the kitchen use was meant for making lunch or dinner during my stay (I knew there was no restaurant through the description on booking.com) and breakfast was being served in a common area but there is no such place.

There was literally nobody staying there but me and the staff was basically invisible. I was looking for a quiet place but not a lonely one. I was the only guest, a solo traveller on top and staff was kind of absent. It felt pretty weird almost surreal. I wish I would have known that before or the staff would have been a little more attentive, communicative and interested in their only guest. I felt I kind disturbed them and the tranquility.

The food. Prices are extremely high for what you get. We then decided to order Indian food at a place recommended by the accommodation which was much better and for 1/5 of the price.

We loved the location of this property, but he rooms were basic but traditional and felt authentic. The facilities like the bathrooms and kitchen are very dated but all worked. It is tired and basic but the friendly housekeeper and chef and the location made it the perfect choice for us. You can see the zebras, baboons, buffalo from the terrace as you look over the park and enjoy some drinks. Ideal!

For the place to be more updated and the food wasn’t really to our tastes or great for our 4 kids, but the chef was lovely and we were well looked after.

A lovely out of the way place to spend our last night in Kenya. The pool was great. The beds were comfortable with lovely sheets, duvet and pillows.the kitchen area was well equipped, if you wanted to self cater

The location, the views and the cat was awesome!

The bed was uncomfortable, two single mattresses joined together was uncomfortable to sleep next to a partner

it’s absolutely overrated and doesn’t deserve the price at all they are not operating professionally and no enough bath items inside the net wasn’t good worst was the towels . very old and uncomfortable by conclusion I would say it’s absolutely unfair to suggest this kind of place to someone with such a price

there is nothing I liked about it

Excellent location near to all of the attractions and with direct viewing into National park! A few animals even wandered over near to the property! Safe and Secure! We had 3 huts for our family of 5 (2 were bedrooms with bathrooms, 1 for kitchen & dining). Chalo was extremely attentive in arranging all of our taxis/day drivers and ordering food for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend!
