New Toropi Homestay

Excellent stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Great location and good value for money. Highly recommended!

De gastvrijheid van de gastheer, mooie setting met het terras en de tuin vol speciale kruiden. Hij nam ons mee op een gratis tour om een thee plantage en 2 tempels te bezoeken. We hadden maar 1 namiddag maar hebben dankzij hem er echt alles kunnen uithalen. Ze bieden ook avondeten aan en dit was echt hemels goed! Als je aan de drukte van Kandy wilt ontsnappen is dit echt een aanrader!

Our stay at Toropi Homestay was truly delightful. The property is surrounded by rice fields and jungle, far from the traffic and chaos of Kandy. If you have your own means of transport, it is the perfect choice for a peaceful and quiet stay immersed in nature. The owner is extremely friendly and kind, always ready to give advice about the area, what to see, where to eat, and where to buy quality souvenirs. Both breakfast and dinner were very generous and absolutely delicious. Our room opened onto a small balcony where we could sit and listen to the sounds of nature. This was the place where we received the greatest care and attention from a host during our entire trip. I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful time at this homestay. The host and his family are incredibly kind and very caring! The room is large and clean with a big, comfortable bed. The host's wife cooks breakfast and, if you want, also dinner. The food is delicious and I highly recommend it. The house is in a lovely, quiet location, surrounded by a garden and rice paddies. There's a shared balcony that guests can use, offering a beautiful view of the greenery and a great spot for birdwatching. The host provides advice on local attractions and offers free transportation to and from these places. Incredible service! I highly recommend this homestay!

Everything was perfect

Very nice family, amazing location in the middle of the forest, very calm and peaceful. Local and good breakfast in the terrace.

Little too much umidity in the room

Staying at this hotel was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Kandy! The owner and his family were incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made me feel like part of the family. The hotel itself was spotless and very well-maintained. It offers excellent service at a very affordable price – absolutely the best value for money in the area. I was also able to rent a bike, car, and even a three-wheeler at very cheap rates, which made getting around Kandy so convenient. The location is perfect too – peaceful, surrounded by nature, with the most stunning view and a calm, cool climate throughout the day. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quiet time. And I must mention the breakfast . it was incredible! Honestly, one of the best meals I had in Kandy. Fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy .I’ll definitely be coming back!
