Hotel Golden Haveli

We had a great stay at Hotel Golden Haveli in Jaisalmer India. The room was large and very spacious with a very comfortable king size bed. The hotel and swimming pool were clean, breakfast was extensive and very good. All staff very pleasant and very helpful. The manager Mr Ayub Jathudan was exceptional and allowed us to overstay our checkout time so we didn't have to hang around the city for our early evening train. We would happily stay there again.

The building was beautiful and staff were lovely. We loved the window seat in the room. It was easy to walk to the fort from the hotel, approx 15 minutes along with a good view of the fort from our room.

There was building work going on in the hotel, which we were not informed about prior to arrival. It as very noisy from 9 to 5 pm. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. The bathroom was basic, the wet room style shower, meant that the whole of the bathroom got wet when you showered, as there was no curtain and no large lip to Leto the water in the shower area. The toilet had been placed at an angle which meant when you sat on it, it was not level! Breakfast choice was limited. It would be great if the hotel added more seating outside, as the garden area is lovely.

It is a beautiful property with great potential. It is still a work in process. They are very sensibly improving steadily

An incredibly enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Hotel Golden Haveli ! We were blown away by the beautiful Haveli style architecture and finishings. Our room was spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and had the comfiest bed of our entire stay in India. We had a gorgeous balcony area with a view out to the pool and garden. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the driver to take us out to the desert camps.we would highly recommend staying here and booking any day/multiple day excursions with him. All the staff were amazing

Le personnel super. Très simple d'aller à pied jusqu'au fort. Bon petit déjeuner. Superbe vue sur le fort. Très bon séjour de 4 nuits

Worst experience. Booked this hotel for my family. Faced issues for bathing with hot water and needed to move to other rooms. Issues were not fixed by staff. Limited food options and food is very oily and unhealthy. For breakfast, only Maggie and Puri bhaji served in oil. Full hotel payment was asked at arrival. Even after sharing bad experience asked for providing best review to hotel. Poor lighting everywhere in hotel.
