Hotel Golden Haveli

The staff was accommodating but I think the property isnt worth the money.

The property is under construction, food is passable and the room (suite) lacked basic amenities like room heating, phone, clean washroom etc.

The hotel is undergoing an extension.. It's noisy and not clean. Food is below average. Rooms need renovation. Nothing provided in bathrooms. Not worth the price.

Structure and outside areas are great.

Not quiet perfect. needs a lot of touches here and there. Still has old rustic interiors.

Clean and modern, well maintained lobby, rooms and swimming pool. Friendly staff and prompt service. Great food in the in house restaurant. We always had breakfast there and we all enjoyed the variety each morning. The staff arranged everything for us at a reasonable cost - taxi, tuk tuk, desert safari, jeep safari etc to name a few.

Slight complaint for construction in upper floor only during the day (mostly we were out and about then).

Nice pool. Got moved to another room due to noise from renovations. Appreciated them doing that as first room was very noisy.

Was not aware there would be renovations/construction happening and that place would be so empty.

Es un hotel con potencial pero no está bien ahora mismo.

El baño fatal, no sale agua por la ducha apenas y mucho menos caliente. La cisterna no iba. No solo en mi habitación, en las de mis amigos pasaba igual. El aire acondicionado formó un rio en mi habitación. Las sábanas al llegar me las tuvieron que cambiar porque estaban demasiado sucias. Pagas como si fuese un hotel de alta calidad y te encuentras que por fuera muy bien pero por dentro fatal. Están en obras, construyendo más plantas en el hotel y todo está lleno de polvo de obra y ruido de obra constantemente que no puedes descansar. El desayuno no está bueno y muy poca variedad. En la parte de piscina no tienes donde sentarte ni poner la toalla o tus cosas. Por ese precio encuentras en India hoteles mucho mejores. Al irnos querían cobrarnos el agua de cortesía. Me he sentido estafada.

The staff was responsive to all needs.

The property is undergoing major renovations, as a result of which there was too much dust and noise. The elevators are out of order due to renovation work. This was a challenge as my 84 year old father had an issue climbing stairs. Electricity would go often, and it takes a while for the backup to kick in. Charging points do not work in the room. The staff did try to keep the dust away by cleaning frequently, but it did not work for the sort of renovation that was on. At the time of check out I was offered a box of sweets and 50% discount on my next visit. Both are good gestures but does not compensate for my inconvenience. My next trip is most likely some other place and not Jaisalmer in near future.

Everything was just perfect here. We spent two nights at the hotel and we also did one night of desert safari with them. The food, the rooms and the staff were just 10/10. Here you can eat good food, chat with the staff and sleep in a comfy and clean bed.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially thanks to nazir , always going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable experience. The place was overall very nice and clean. The food was also really good, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
