Hotel Golden Haveli

Just the build of the property is good.

There is no heater in the rooms! It was very cold and they did not have heater. We stayed 1 night at desert camp and even they had heater in room!! But this hotel did not! There was no hot water. Let me explain - so each room does not have a heater - if you want to take a shower in this hotel and want hot water - you need to call the reception and tell them you want to shower and THEN they turn on the boiler. After that you need to wait for 30-45 mins for the water to get heated. We left our room key with reception so that they can do room service and clean up - we came back at 11 pm and our room was NOT SERVICED! So why did they keep our key? Very very very bad place to stay. And very much over priced. Stay anywhere BUT NOT HERE.

Very poor service levels and very arrogant staff ! Drainage water all along the path way of hotel when you check into the room ! Location is very poor !

The kitchen closes too early and no delivery from food app allowed ! The food is very overpriced and the staff is very arrogant and I'll behaved ! You can feel that a tourist is being looted when you order food and beverages as compared to other hotels of jaiselmer ! The service level is very poor !

Half the facilities mentioned are not there. We took a suit room but nothing good in the room . Even hot water facilities are not there. Overall an average stay for the price we paid. However if u get a very good deal then only take it .

Location, it is centrally located

Staff was not properly trained, we had to call multiple times for restaurant items or for amenities. Hot water faucets also failed at our stay. They need to get it replaced. We booked 2 rooms and both both had problems.

This place should not be used as a hotel also considering the price it’s not worth it. The lobby and common areas smell of urine. The doors to the rooms are light which means it’s very noisy in the rooms until late night. The place is not clean, we had only boiling hot water in the shower and overall it’s just disgusting and overpriced. I cannot believe hotels.com has this property on their site.

The hotel is in a quiet lane around 5 to 7 minutes walking distance (Around 2 minutes drive) from main market Area. The room size and bathroom size is big. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel has a decent size pool, though we did not use it as it was very cold weather. The hotel is a like a palace turned in to a hotel (like many hotels in Rajasthan). Location wise, this is the best place to stay in Jaisalmer for those who are looking at staying in a luxury hotel without paying exorbitant charges.

1) The breakfast area is not very big for the size of the hotel. The hotel must keep provisoning for a bigger area. 2) The breakfast fare is also very limited. It would be great if they could introduce one live counter for Dosa or something like that. 3) There is no partition between shower area and the bathroom area. Result, the entire bathroom gets wet when one is having a bath. The shower was also not working well and we had to end up taking bath using a bucket and tumbler. 4) No dental kit was provided during the stay and the bath accessories were very miniscule considering there were 3 of us in the room.
