Mirissa Jungle view

I am so happy I decided to book a little away from the beach, this place is exactly what I needed. It’s so peaceful, just the sounds of birds & it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach. I caught the bus from Ahangama & was greeted at the bus stop by Indika & his tuk tuk. I was taken to the accommodation & it exceeded my expectations the room & attached bathroom was so much bigger then in the photos. The back doors opened out to a private patio with a table and chairs & a hammock with a view of the jungle & trees. I was welcomed by Indikas beautiful family with a banana smoothie & I was offered dinner which was rice and curry, it was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. Indika & his beautiful family made me feel so looked after, safe and welcomed. I originally planned to stay just one night but ended up extending it to 3 days. I will stay here again.
