Kefi House Skiathos

Very clean and tidy and very nicely refurbished. Location in the old town was extremely convenient and still quiet. Owner was friendly, helpful and spoke good English.

There was nothing not to like.

Everything was perfect, Dimitris is a super host, even took us for a tour of the island by boat. Very special. Great Taverna and pizza restaurant Gravissi only 20 meters from the house. Will definitely return.

Kefi House is a charming property situated in the heart of the old town, perfect for a couple or small family. It is modern, clean, cosy and quiet with excellent air con, WiFi and comfortable beds. We were met by the owner who showed us the way to Kefi House and who also arranged our taxi transfers. His mother thoroughly cleaned the house half way through the week, changing bedding and towels etc, and we were given a welcome pack on arrival, including a huge plate of fruit, bottled water, coffee pods and biscuits etc, as well as gifts of honey and herbs during the week. Shops, mini markets, buses and water taxis are just a short walk away. We were an elderly couple, but loved every minute exploring the old town, enjoying the outdoor family run restaurants and catching the water taxis to Koukounaries beach for a swim in the crystal clear water.

Nothing, but a small mirror on one of the shelves in the main bedroom would be great for hair and makeup.

The house was lovely and clean, everything was new, beds comfortable. Fantastic location - 7min walk to the harbour, 5 mins to the Main Street filled with boutiques, cafes and tavernas and lovely local tavernas on the doorstep

There was a lack of hooks on back of doors and walls to hang things on and also a lack of mirrors - only one mirror in second bedroom and bathroom

We perceived Kefi House as a modern flat spread over 2 floors with attention to detail. The house is located in the centre of the town in a quiet area and is only a few minutes' walk from the heart of the town and the harbour. The beach is also within easy walking distance. We were travelling without a car, so we only walked and took the bus "Station 4 - Akropolis" to get to the many beautiful beaches. All we can say about the flat is that we unanimously felt very felt very comfortable and at home from start to finish. It is modernly furnished and equipped with everything important Air-conditioning included. All the rooms are large enough and the lovely furnishings and plants both outside and inside make it very inviting. We were particularly surprised by our host Dimitris, who was uncomplicated, warm and honest. We were greeted with a basket full of fruit, wine and water in the fridge! What a surprise! And that same evening we met him in a bar with a live DJ, at the very end of the harbour promenade, in the "GinFish" where Dimitris manager is. We were also surprised by his mum, who changed the bed linen and towels every few days She changed the bed linen and bath towels every few days and also looked after the kitchen and bathroom. We would never have expected that. Everything was clean again, thanks a lot. And we visited our host Dimitris again at his invitation at the Ginfish and said goodbye to him there. All in all, we are very grateful for the wonderful holiday we were able to experience thanks to our host, the locals, nature, the many beautiful beaches, the Greek food and the great hospitality and patience of the locals and seasonal workers. We can only recommend Dimitris and the Kefi House warmly recommend. We wish you Dimitris and your familiy all the best and good luck and success both professionally and personally. Beautiful property right in the middle of town close to all amenities yet extremely peaceful
