Die Lage der Unterkunft war ausgezeichnet. Valletta war zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Bushaltestelle war 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Ein großer Parkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Haus (kostenfrei). Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben. Die Gastgeber hatten ein Booklet über die Unterkunft erstellt. Die Wohnung war sehr detailverliebt eingerichtet.

Die Unterkunft war ziemlich kalt und leider war nur in den Schlafzimmern eine Klimaanlage, die auch geheizt hat. Der Gastgeber hat uns einen kleinen Heizkörper zur Verfügung gestellt, der das Zimmer aber nicht heizen konnte. Das war nicht so schön.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped, spacious, beds are comfortable, close to public transport and Valetta. The windows are soundproof - even though there is heavy traffic in front of the building, it was really quiet in the apartment. There was wine and coffee waiting for us on check-in.

We asked to have extra bedsheets (not to sleep under one double bedsheet, as we were not couples, but friends), but the owner did not provide it for some reason. The shower in one of the bathrooms was plugged and flooded the bathroom. There was no space to keep cosmetics in the bathrooms, no towel racks. And the neighborhood was pretty shady and ugly. The huge construction side in the front of the building and a scrap yard on the back! There was mud and dust everywhere once you left the apartment. Not enough toilette paper.

The apartment itself is modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. Very convenient with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cleaning was not up to par as there has not been a deep clean made for awhile and we found hair in one of the bathrooms.

Unfortunately , the owner had not put any information or any pictures of the massive construction work going on outside. The apartment is in the middle of the construction site, and at one point the closed the whole road whereas we even had a hard time getting in to the apartment, let alone grab a taxi. We booked this apartment due to the nice view and area that is shown on the website, but this is not the reality of how it looks like at this point in time. If we would have been aware of this, we would definitely have booked something else as this really made the stay less enjoyable (this was a 70th birthday gift to my mom). I am sure that it will look great when it is finalized, but if you care about the surrounding area you should consider booking elsewhere until the work is done.
