The vibe, the co-residents were chill. Met many new people. Bonfire arrangements were quite nice.

The location is just pathetic. Too steep a climb to get to anywhere (nearby food/grocery shops) Limited food options at the in-house restaurant. Late service response. At times the staff was quite rude. Auto-rickshaw drivers quoted higher prices just because of the location of the hotel.

The property is at great location, surrounded by the nature, and has a very good rooms with view

The place is quite far down the hill, making it difficult to access the market easily. The staff was not very helpful and often seemed cranky when we asked for anything. There were no activities planned, and even after inquiring, they mentioned they weren’t aware of any. The kitchen staff was also rude. Additionally, the common space closes at 11 PM, which was quite disappointing-it defeats the purpose of staying in a hostel.

The games were not playable because of missing parts, like pool does not have all balls etc…

The location was both a positive and a negative: it is out of Munnar and overlooks tea plantations (but see below negative). The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The restaurant served good food which is lucky because there's nothing else around it. The room rate is decent, too.

You really need a scooter to stay here and when I arrived, it turned out all scooters had been booked in advance and so I had to get autos everywhere. There's no restaurants near the hostel so you need to go into Munnar to eat, or eat in the in-house restaurant which was actually good. There also wasn't any hot water on any of the days I stayed- the water boiler gave a lukewarm spurt of water for about 15 seconds. And the beds are so close together that it is difficult to open your under bed storage. Finally, the hostel had a weird vibe - it felt as if the staff were bothered by you asking questions or ordering food, and parts of the hostel were rundown.

Good affordable, clean stay, great atmosphere and crowd. Very nice location and amenities.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful, and lots of excursions organised, which is good, because it is difficult to go around Munnar without a private vehicle. The food at the restaurant is very good. Also, the common room at the top floor is amazing, with great views. The beds are comfy and the female dormitory room was spacious.

The reason of my low rating is mainly because the running water at the bathroom was very dirty, like brown colour. The cleanliness otherwise was decent. Also, the location is not very ideal, it is down a steep hill, and some tuktuks won't go there to drop you, which is a bit inconvenient if you carrying your luggage, and also nothing around to eat (minimum 15min drive to reach the closest restaurant). Otherwise, it is not bad at all. I was supposed to stay there for a night only, but at the end I stayed for 3, because I couldn't find any better options at this price nearby.
