Solar Residency, Srinagar

All the staff are very good, Hotel is very good, Facilities are very good, Specially we must thank Mr. Imran Khan for everything..

Everything is very good, nothing is in my mind for negative comments..

The location and room was good Cleanliness is maintained

Bathroom accessories should be kept in the bathroom. We called and asked for the shower cap

Sadly I did not like anything about my stay here. It is far away from the usual touristy places. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were four people staying in 2 different rooms. In both the rooms when we try to take shower the shower handle Comes off and we had to keep calling reception. All of us had food poisoning, we called reception one night at 3am as I was having loose motion and asked for salt, they said they would send someone and no one arrived. On my last day they said I had to pay by card although I had made my reservation through booking, as a result of this I got charged by my card provider as they did not take payment from booking. Also there were regular power cuts and it takes a good few minutes for them to turn on the generators if you are unlucky it could take an hour. Also this hotel is far from the tourist sites so nothing is walkable from here, I would consider a different hotel if coming to srinagar.

We have had a wonderful stay at Solar residency this week. The team were beyond accommodating by allowing us early check-in and late check-out to suit our flights. The General Manager, Mr Imran made our stay all the more wonderful by showing us true Kashmiri hospitality and making us feel right at home. The location has been very convenient and staff are exceptional - a big highlight of our stay. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping are thorough (Mr Nasir Ahmed and the team were wonderful), room service has been prompt and food from the dinner menu delicious.

The bathrooms were a bit aged and could do with renovations for a 4-star. The wifi was also very weak however this didn’t impact our stay much.

Will not recommend at all the front desk persons are disgusting Make sure when you book and when you do check in reconfirm the price with them these guys make you fool very easily and they did not mention the hidden charges

First of all they don’t know how to deal with the guest and second thing they do not have manners if one person is speaking with the receptionist they are spoke to like they attack on you

The staffs were very friendly, specially I would like to mention about housekeeper Zohar, he was extremely helpful … restaurant waiters was also very nice I must say

Bathroom remains wet, I think they can separate the bathing section
