We follow a lean, self-service and no-frills hospitality model to keep stays affordable, with select amenities available on a pay-as-you-use basis. Drugs, misconduct, non-payment, theft, vandalism or policy violations will lead to immediate eviction without refund and possible permanent blacklisting. Outside food and alcohol is permitted only in designated common areas and inside private rooms. It is strictly prohibited inside dorm rooms. Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking zones within the premises. For group bookings of 2+ guests, same-dorm accommodation is not guaranteed as room allocation is automated and subject to availability. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. The Hosteller Wayanad, Vythiri is a family-friendly property. Please note - kids are allowed only in private rooms but not in dorm rooms. Visitors are allowed only in common areas between 9 AM and 9 PM and are not permitted inside rooms. Female dorms are strictly for female guests only. Local IDs are accepted. Limited parking is available on-site subject to availability (up to 8 cars). Swimming pool timings: 7 AM - 7 PM (The swimming pool may also be under maintenance on any given day). Silent hours are observed daily from 10 PM to 8 AM. The Hosteller is a backpacker hostel chain suited for young travellers, and does not permit guests below 18 years of age, even with legal guardians. The property is pet friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Neat and clean.well maintained.Open space to chill with table tennis court and carroms. Perfect place for youngsters and travellers

Great location: the view from the common area is beautiful, the place feels secluded but it’s close enough to town to reach restaurants and shops by walking Nice common areas with lots of options, eg to play table tennis or just enjoy the view. Comfortable beds

Quite dirty (dust in the rooms, holes in the bed sheets), service in general is mediocre. We asked for an auto rikshaw to take us for an early morning hike. When we showed up at 5am it wasn’t there. They managed to get one in the end but it was unpleasant for everyone involved at that hour of the day. the food at the restaurant was average in taste but costly. It could be a cool feature to use an app for the orders but it’s not working properly - doesn’t show the progress, doesn’t tell you when it’s ready. We tried the restaurant twice and both times we waited for an eternity, food didn’t come together so we had finished one dish before the other one even arrived. Tips: 1. when you order through the app go directly to the kitchen and tell them that you’re waiting. If you do it after half an hour wait you will wait another 30 minutes. Or just eat in town. 2. when you want to book a rickshaw make sure several times that it’s been confirmed.

Pool area didn’t have any sunbeds and water could have been cleaner Inflexible in terms of paying for food in that you had to use their app and couldn’t pay staff directly

Amazing ambience, nice stay clean room Blue 💙 water swimming pool so clean it was , staff was very polite and clean room comfortable beds very good ❤️ stay food was very tasty, management outstanding. ✌️10/10 stay here and enjoy every moment ❤️ beautiful Green view' in whole property all Manager and housekeeping was very good. I want to come again here thanks a lots the Hosteller Wayanad hospitality Room has many amenities like shower gel shampoo hand wash conditioner,towel and tv . I love this type management 🥰 from swimming pool there was a mountain view wow just so beautiful view 🤩 again I will come here . Get up go ♥️✌️
