The owner is helpful and fabulous and funny.

The owner upgraded us when they were unable to provide the room we booked, due to technical issues. The kitchen facilites, bedroom and lounge area were spacious, with everything we needed. View of the morning sunrise was spectactular!

This location was very nice. It was initially a bit difficult to locate, but once we found it we had no problem getting around the Rotorua area. You are right on the west shore of the lake, and you have wonderful sunrises to greet you in the morning. This is a premier location for anyone on a fishing trip. It is within a few meters of one of the best trout streams feeding into Lake Rotorua. The place is set up for that use, with a fish cleaning station outside of the living quarters. If you stay for more than two nights you can use the kayaks for free.

We were there during a hatch of a small fly from the lake and streams. These little flies do not bite, but they were everywhere and were a nuisance when you went outside to walk. Of course, the property owners have no control over the insects, and they did explain that they were not dangerous and did not bite, etc.
