Wonderful, swimming pool was excellent. Brilliant location, good food, kind staff, great air con, very quiet I would absolutely recommend.

The bathrooms could be updated slightly!

The place is super modern and comfortable. The young man managing it is very kind, so two thumbs up for him. The breakfast was tasty. The view is incredible. The owner was really chill and helpful when we met in person (he welcomed us on arrival). I recommend it.

The only thing I didn't like is that when the wifi went out at night, I informed the owner and he never responded to me or acted on it - even the next day, he ignored the message. As a remote worker, that's a bummer. Still, he was a cool guy and it seemed like an oversight.

Mold in the room

Uday, the host, was absolutely lovely. Him and his family were all so sweet and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Uday also picked us up from the train station and waited about an hour for us as our train was late. The location was very quiet and the views from the property were breath-taking. I would strongly recommend booking a room with a mountain view, as the room we stayed in (standard double) is a little darker with only a view to a bit of jungle. A Tuk tuk will cost you about 400-500 rps to get into central Kandy from the property, however we usually walked into town and got a Tuk Tuk back (as there were pretty steep hills).

Just needed a bin for the room and maybe some bedside tables / lamps would have made it more cosy. And some paintings on the walls - It's quite minimalistic! Uday is a great artist, so some of his own work would be amazing up there!

The view was amazing, especially during the sunsets. The staff was nice and friendly.

We were disappointed with the service. We had breakfast included and every day the staff would ask us what time we want our breakfast but it wasn’t never on time. One day we asked specifically for it to be ready by 6am because we need to be in town at 630am and they said it’s okay, but nothing was ready and they offered us to start preparing it at 620am which was too late for us. Also the breakfast itself was kinda disappointing. Everyone was nice to us, but everything just felt very uncoordinated and confusing.

It was very high up , so tuk tuk are necessary. Shower temperature was overly hot, but it was rectified quickly.
