"A romantic little getaway"

What a stunning little getaway my Husband and I had. The location was perfect, the views were breathtaking, the evening sunset and midnight stars to the morning misty clouds all around us in the morning. Loved the fireplace and glass windows all around. we will def go back. A lovely warm and welcoming cottage in the mountain with everything you need.

"Rose Mountain Cottage Country Getaway"

The location, the accommodation, and the experience. Beautiful countryside and one of the loveliest spots in the midlands, and to see it all from the top of the mountain is the perfect way to experience it. The cottage is stunning and has everything you need, styled simply with lovely finishes.

All the roads in the area are very temperamental depending on the weather, so it really helps to have an off road car with a lot of clearance

"Humbling views; refreshing privacy; experienced hosts."

We were looking for a private, mountain getaway to recoup and refresh and Rose Mountain Cottage delivered on every account, with far more than we could have expected. Michelle and Brendon were exceptionally hospitable - fast responses; warm and welcoming but respectful of privacy; and prideful in their magnificent property, going so far as to allow us to roam their farm, including their wedding venue, and enjoy the breathtaking views. We were treated to far more wood than we could use, peace of mind from loadshedding (their property is off the grid), fresh herbs and just a very thoughtfully curated and furnished cottage. We will be recommending to all our friends and to-be-wedded acquaintances and we most certainly will be back.
