Villa Caribbean Dream

Frau Maronie hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und es war wie nach Hause kommen. Danach zeigte sie uns die liebevoll gerichteten Häuser. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in einem schönen Anwesen.

The villa is in a great location for anyone needing a short stay near the airport. The room was very clean and in good condition. We spent some time with the owner and she was a delight to get to know.

An opportunity for improvement would be to have some food and drink available for purchase on site. The store isn't too far away but it is an inconvenience to have to go there for small items.

Nach einer sehr verspäteten Anfahrt wegen einer Reifenpanne empfing uns Brigitte sehr herzlich. Der Blick von der Terrasse über die Bucht ist unvergesslich. Der Garten ein Traum. Es ist luftig und angenehm. Im Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden. Alles in allem ein echter Geheimtipp. Vielen, vielen Dank an Brigitte.

Very cozy & comfortable suite with a beautiful location overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Very clean. We stayed one night in between our check in at a resort on the other side of the island. We arrived at UVF airport early evening around dinner time. We were able to take a car to the Villa that was prearranged by Brigette. Brigette has a warm heart & is an amazing hostess. She cares about her visitors & wants to ensure that they feel comfortable & welcomed. After we checked in, Brigette wanted to be sure that we were taken to a restaurant to be able to have dinner in time before anything closed. We arrived during a holiday so the area was busier than normal. When she was unable to find an available driver to take us to a restaurant, she went out of her way to drive us there herself & went into the restaurant to be sure that the restaurant would be able to get us a taxi back to the Villa when we were finished. We felt safe & well cared for.

As for the breakfast, Brigitte no longer prepares this. We cooked in our roomy kitchen

The TV did NOT work.

Vielen Dank für die schöne, wenn auch kurze Zeit. Brigitte ist ein tolle Gastgeberin mit viel Erfahrung und Tipps für die Region. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und ein traumhafter Ort um zu entspannen.

Brigitte was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly. This included arranging our transfers, providing recommendations and even helping us to find somewhere to eat (we'd arrived during a public holiday). We stayed in the King Studio which is an apartment above the detached car port. It was wonderfully quiet with vaulted ceilings and large windows allowing great views of the garden and all of the birds (including hummingbirds which was a real highlight). There were a couple of intense rain showers in the night and we remained dry (the wooden roof shingles let air in but keep water out). The air conditioning and mosquito net meant we slept well too. We woke up early due to jet lag and walked to see the nearby lighthouse / viewpoint at sunrise which was another highlight. The accommodation is located in tough terrain so is harder to access on foot (unless you're a very keen hiker). This means the area is incredibly peaceful which we really valued. Taxis or a hire car are advised for sight seeing. It was a 10-minute drive to the nearby town (shops, bank, pharmacy) which is probably just about walkable, or a 15-minute taxi to the airport ($15). A big thanks to Brigitte for a wonderful stay.

Brigitte - the owner - runs a charming , clean and tight operation with her handful of cottages . We only where able to remain one night ... however wished we could have stayed more , Thank you 🙏🏻

Brigette , the hostess, is an absolute delight. She accommodates all my requests and even invited me to have coffee with her friends. This is an authentic Caribbean experience.

It was a challenge to find but a phone call to Brigitte was very helpful.

Everything including the friendliest of hosts, thank you Brigitte.

There was nothing not to like.
