Staying at Sinharaja Forest Edge was nothing short of magical. Nestled right at the entrance of the Sinharaja Rainforest, this eco-boutique retreat offers a rare blend of tranquility, comfort, and immersive nature. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel truly welcome.

De location is very nearby the entrance of the park. it was just a 2 min walk, amazing!

The manager was extremely pushy in trying to sell the park tours, and the prices she quoted were significantly inflated. We quickly realized that it is much better to book directly with a local guide, who often passes by the hotel to offer tours. They provide the exact same experience for roughly a quarter of the price the hotel charges. Unfortunately, we also found the manager’s attitude very unpleasant — overly aggressive and far from customer-friendly.

Location is more than nice because the forest entrance is literally inside the hotel which was crazy. our rooms were clean and the place was nice the pool also was good, generally it feels like a resort and the staff was more than lovely so was the breakfast , I really recommend staying here .

Do a little shopping before you come here, the prices inside the place for foods, drinks, laundry and exchange were jacked up and there isn't much shops around because its a village, even the tour we did not book it directly from them because the price wasn't good for us. The prices aren't bad but if you are on a budget do some shopping beforehand.

Wat een mooie plek aan de rand van het regenwoud, naast de entree zelfs. Heel fijn zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de groene tuin, uitgebreide menu kaart met lekker eten, goede communicatie, fijn personeel.

De kamer was prima, redelijk bed en prima badkamer, ontbijt was buffet en met grote groepen ook lunch/avondeten. Dit is wel altijd hetzelfde! Dus lang verblijf is niet aan te raden en het is rijst/curry. Prima keuken. Hele mooie tuin, zwembad was prima en mooie locatie. Taxi was goed geregeld naar het vliegveld.

De kamer leek totaal niet op de foto's. Er zat geen bad in, veel kleiner dan op de foto's. Douche was niet echt warm. Tours hebben wij verdeeld gedaan, 1 bij het hotel, deze was oke voor een ervaring in de jungle. Zoek je echt wildlife of meer dan de standaard jungle ervaring, is het advies om verder te kijken naar een ander tourbedrijf.. Is het hotel niet helemaal blij mee maar ach.
