It had a nice location with a beautiful poolside view and lots of nature. Surprisingly, there weren't that many bugs that came inside for the fact that there were openings in the roof. We saw many jungle animals roaming around the hotel, very beautiful.

There were holes in the roof to the outside, which made it noisy when it became busy at the weekend. Also, it was really noisy with people upstairs. Would have loved to know while booking that the room had openings to the outside. While I love nature, the idea of a big spider running over me at night kept me up all night. Also, curtains couldn't fully close, and it made us feel watched.

Der Garten außerhalb war sehr schön und das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich.

In einem Zimmer wurden wir im Bad von Ameisen überlaufen. Anstatt uns ein anderes Zimmer zu geben (wir waren zu der Zeit die einzigen Gäste) wurde erst mit viel Chemie versucht sie zu beseitigen was nicht möglich war und wir dann doch nach viel Diskussion Zimmer wechseln durften.

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, helping us spot rare birds and understand the rich biodiversity of the area. After a day of trekking, the swimming pool was a refreshing treat, and the peaceful garden offered the perfect spot to unwind.

La comida, la ubicación a la entrada de la selva, la piscina y el guía que nos tocó.

Calidad-precio muy mejorable. Había mucha humedad en las habitaciones, el colchón estaba húmedo y con muchas marcas de moho. También había marcas de moho en la ducha, etc. Se entiende que es normal por estar en la selva, pero son detalles que se pueden solventar con una limpieza más profunda. En cuanto a la comida, cogimos media pensión y no hay opción a elegir el menú, comes lo que ellos designen ese día. Se sobreentiende que entra la botella de agua, pero no; lo que está incluido es coger agua (potable) de una máquina que no nos enseñaron. Por ello, pedíamos agua y al final de la estancia nos la cobraron. También, mucho cuidado con coger las habitaciones de enfrente de la piscina, no tienen A/C. En conclusión, tiene cosas buenas, pero la realidad es que es bastante caro para lo que es.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur! Die Sinharaja Lodge war eine absolute Überraschung – so ruhig, grün und authentisch! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Rande des Regenwaldes und ist perfekt, um die Natur hautnah zu erleben. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des Personals– sie haben sich unglaublich freundlich um alles gekümmert, uns mit leckerem hausgemachtem Essen verwöhnt und tolle Tipps für Wanderungen im Sinharaja Forest gegeben. Man spürt, dass hier mit Herz geführt wird. Ein unvergesslicher Ort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und echtes sri-lankisches Flair suchen.

Es war alles top! Nur die Hunde, die dort rumgelaufen sind gingen garnicht. Sie haben die ganze Zeit gebellt und sich gegenseitig angegriffen
