BDNot sure if all boutique hotels are like this, but the room had hardly any amenities, and staff were rarely around. During a power outage in Mirissa, they took away the AC remote before starting the generator, and later turned it off, we had to argue to get it back on. They also didn’t provide water bottles on the second day, they didn’t have any in the kitchen, though eventually brought some after we asked.
DEThe Host is excellent, a very friendly and courteous guy. Same goes for the rest of the staff. There are able to organize transport and whatever you need to a reasonable price. The rooms are clean with comfortable size. You can also use cozy lounge areas inside and outside in the garden and by the pool. The pool ist not huge but big enough to refresh and to do 3 strokes. Our family room provided a small fridge, plug converters and a climatization which we could adjust. The bathroom was big. Breakfast can be fried eggs, Sri Lanka omelette, sweet stuff, or If you want Sri Lanka breakfast wich we have not tried (supposed to be spicy, also comes with Dal). The TukTuk ride to Mirissa main beach takes less than 3 minutes. Coconut Tree Hill can be walked to. We would definitely come back again.

INNice Behavior of the Manger called Captain
The rooms are not managed professionally like Hotel, probably this property is a Home Stay and not a proper Hotel. The Air Conditioning needs to be maintained properly when guests arrive. There should be a proper dining table for breakfast instead of small tables on lawn. During our various stay at different locations in Sri Lanka most the hotels do not load the credit card bank charges to guest. At this property the final bill should be inclusive of all charges and that mentioned in booking.com. Full cash is inconvenient for taking out from ATM and pay, hence the final bill should not have the 3% bank charges of credit card back charged and loaded on Guests.
FIWe really enjoyed our time at Nibbana Mirissa hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern, comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Location was perfect for us. So quiet and still so close to Mirissa and Weligama beach. Loved the local restaurants close by also. The staff did a phenomenal job, making sure we had everything we needed and Captain even gave us tuk tuk rides to the beach and coconut tree hill. We love to stay at smaller familyowned local hotels and this was very good quality for affordable price. Thank you for having us and we hope we will be back in Sri Lanka one day.

DEThe room was very clean, we had the pool to ourself and the host was very sweet and helpful.
CZThe hotel was very nice, rooms very spacious and comfortable . Well maintained garden and small swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The location is about 1 , 5 km from Mirrisa beach and the center, but you can easy get there with a tuk-tuk.
