HOTEL BEACON ONOMICHI

Excellent location and facilities. Very book breakfast (needs to be prebooked a few days ahead). I really liked having a projector in the room. Private onsen baths are very good too.

Bring earplugs, the hotel is at the train station and you can hear the trains.

The property was right above the station! It was so convenient.

Central location, modern facilities. Literally above the train station.

Restaurant difficult to access - closed or limited opening hours.

The location was perfect for travellers. The breakfast was good. The best feature were the corner windows of our room. Watching the comings and goings of the trains was a treat for train buffs!

The restaurant was closed for dinner and was not updated on the Bookings.com website. A bit disappointed but staff managed a refund within a day or two.

The room layout was nice and comfortable, the tatami loft was good to relax in. Location right on the station, central to many attractions. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were helpful.

Storage space is limited if you have alot of luggage.

Really clean and modern hotel with a very central location - ideal for starting the Shimanami Kaido. Also it had all the amenities you could need, incl. washing facilities which were very useful.

Would have liked some choice with the breakfast to accommodate dietary restrictions. We could hear the trains at night, which kept waking up my partner. Also couldn't easily open suitcases due to the room layout.
