The apartment was completely upgraded and modern with free parking in a garage, AC and a washing machine, was spotless and had a gorgeous private balcony. The hosts met us in person to show us around and hand over the keys. There are two grocery stores and several restaurants and cafes nearby (including an all you can eat sushi place that was not bad!). Within walking distance of the historical area.

I was a tad concerned driving to the area because the location seemed a bit rough but it was actually fine. We walked around without any concerns. It is simply not a touristy area - people just living their lives. At first I had difficulty locating the property but was able to figure it out via texting with the hosts.
