Had a great time here. Amazing location, team and views. I'll be back here for sure!

The posada has comfortable beds and it was very clean. The only problem we had was the wifi because we couldn’t access it from our room. We had to go to the lobby to be able to have a stable connection. It’s a good place to stay if u do not care for the wifi.

The Posada del Arquitecto treated us so very well during our stay!!! Every member of the team was friendly and helpful and always ready to share a laugh (even at my bad attenpts at humor in Spanish). ¡¡Nos veremos en el futuro!!

Great place In unbeatable location. Would go back!

The walls had stains on them. The shower water pressure was not strong enough to take sand off our bodies. There was a leak in the bathroom sink. The coffee maxhine & cups were dirty also.

This place is fantastic. Right on the beach -- the location can't be beat. The restaurant has the best view in town. The wifi isn't reliable but mostly works. If you need to work from your room, I recommend getting a local sim card and using a hot spot. That's what I did for some zoom meetings. The rooms are cleaned five times a week, and the towels and sheets are changed often -- which was great. The staff is super friendly, as well as the other guests. There could be noise from the bars on the street at night and some mild construction noise during the day. I highly recommend the place!

La posada del arquitecto es el mejor hotel en Mazunte con la mejor vista y a 10 metros del mar. Ahora tiene nuevas habitaciones hasta con aire acondicionado y de todos los tamaños. nunca ha dejado de sorprenderme y siempre es mi primera opción para hospedarme (antes ni se podía reservar por internet). amo ese hotel y amo las vistas, amo el servicio que dan. en verdad es el mejor hotel que pueden reservar.

There is no hot water. Also is you stay on the upper rooms you will never get running water, not even cold water, that is terrible. Wifi also is just non existent, terrible service. Staff will just ignore all your problems because thats what they do, they just charge you and dont care about anything else, also they only take cash, no card no transfer.

I've stayed many times at this place, when it was run by the owner, Alessandro if I remember correctly, but had not been here in a while. The spot is very nice, but the standards have fallen terribly: - Upon checking in, I found the floor and walls in my shower full of dirt and hair - Upon waking up on the second day, I discovered that I had been stung by fleas and other aggressive bed bugs, several days later the sting marks are still big - Upon reporting this to the front desk, and showing a few stings to the person in charge, he asked arrogantly if "these were the only stings?", apparently this was not serious enough a problem to report. As I had others, he condescended to have the problem addressed, obviously no excuse was ever on offer. - A few days before my arrival, a couple of very dear friends had lunch in the Posada. They were so poorly and arrogantly treated that they declined to come back, quite an embarrassment. - To be fair, a few individuals in the staff were absolutely nice, the place continues to be very pleasant and so is the spot and the beach at the front, but under such circumstances I can’t possibly see why I would ever want to stay there again.
