I am very happy to have come across Antonella’s place. It is incredibly spacious, amazing view of Pavia, elevator, complete amenities to provide a comfortable stay— such as kitchen, utensils, air conditioning in every room, HMDI cable to connect your laptop to the TV, wifi, extra toilet and sink in the main bedroom, mosquito coils. On top of these, the hosts/staff (we assumed they were her parents?) were extremely sweet and helpful. They didn’t speak a lot of English but they took their time to explain the place and the rules slowly even in Italian as long as we understand the gist. We were told that we could check-in early and Antonella was really on top of communication. Super happy with her. At the end of our stay, she also gave us fresh fruits through the hosts/staff.

The place was almost perfect except for some really minor things. When we arrived there were unwashed plates in the dishwasher. Perhaps previous guests either used all the pods or host forgot to provide. We weren’t sure, we washed our own dishes by hand. We came during peak heatwave so there were mosquitos in the room, but all the windows are sealed with screens and they provided citronella coils to and plugs to drive them away. Lastly, as the place is the attic part of the building, if you are tall (and my partner was 188 cm) then you might not fit some of the areas where the ceilings are a bit low (e.g. toilet in master bedroom or the area where the TV is located or the corner of the kitchen were some storage units are). But don’t let these nitpicking hinder your stay!
