Hotel Holistika Tulum

Quite location in the nature, a lot of opportunities to join classes and rituals. Nice breakfast. The room was clean spacious and with a nice view. The lighting was pleasant and the temperature as well.

The staff was not reliable, We asked if we can have dinner on the 31st of Dec at our arrival after a long flight, they answered the restaurant closes at 20:00, we arrived on time for it but then they said is closed for a private event. When we wrote back about this they have ignored the message. When we left we ordered and paid in advance a breakfast take away but the forgot about it.

The dormitories are quite extraordinary, beautifully designed, a peaceful spacious oasis with beautiful showers. everything has been carefully considered from charging points to lockers. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are huge (over 25m) and perfect for exercise not just relaxing. The yoga studios are works of art and the teaching is brilliant.

Amazing place to stay. So beautiful. One of a kind experience. It's like living in the jungle. Staff are so helpful with everything. Was my first time, and they helped me with everything. They have yoga and other activities here every day. The restaurant and the smoothie bar is great, too. Would totally come back and stay here.

It is true throughout Tulum, but DO heed the warnings about the poor quality of roads if you are driving a rental car. Even along main streets throughout the town, and (when my mom and I stayed in November 2024) along the entrance roads to Holistika itself, road surfaces have *tremendous* potholes and bumps (beyond tope-variety bumps), and can pose real risk to car axels/bumpers/tires etc. if you aren't extremely careful. Also, it surprised us that the property is a wellness retreat but they only had 2 masseuses on staff , and therefore the availability for massage times was very restricted? Perhaps we misunderstood but it did mean that we weren't able to enjoy that experience since our time in Tulum was short and we chose to visit the ruins (which were fabulous).

I really enjoyed my stay in Holistika! The place is very peaceful, lot of different yoga classes and activities. Very good and healthy food in the restaurant. It is located in the jungle and it’s also interesting to see their Art Walk. Definitely recommended!

It is a little bit further from a center and a beach. So you need a scooter or bicycle.

Clean, minimalistic hotel with jungle feeling. Peaceful surrounding, outside of town but close-by. Good activity program. Simple but good restaurant with lots of options.
