Location was off the beaten track.

Not enough shelf/storage in the bathroom for placing items needed for the bathroom.

The whole room was full of ladybirds. Not just a couple- 30 or more , which was quite disconcerting when they are flying around whilst you are trying to sleep and eat . Im sure this is nobodies fault but a check on the room ahead of a guest staying would have shown this to be the case .

Very nice location. Plenty of space.

Very much look forward to staying at the Stables every year, Clean, comfortable, spacious in an exceptional setting, for a restful & restorative stay.

The beautiful building and place of the building. The surrounding area was and is beautiful.

The fact every room in the building was infested and I mean infested with lady birds, couldn't use the bathroom, had to leave early they was in the bed, kitchen sides, living room corners. Every window corner was infested with clumps of harlequin lady birds. To which was not enough for the host to refund any night stay, WiFi isn't strong at all and reception is poor so unless your phone is under 5g it won't work to correspond with the host whilst there. She was lovely at the start but couldn't see how dirty it was for them to be there even after it was apparently cleaned prior to our arrival yet they was all over the bath... The taps show it wasn't cleaned. Shame really because of there wasn't so many of them or they'd have been cleaned (no way they could have been missed there's literally 100s of them I have photos) the place would be perfect but it makes you think why wasn't it cleaned or bettered before we got there and is that why the rest of the building was empty it wast just our room.. the whole building downstairs was covered in doors etc. I don't think a £20 'good will' gesture is sufficient to what I endured here I left early and told her before my check out time yet she's seem to think I'm the problem although accepts there was this problem. UK law states she shouldn't be renting out the infested property and booking.com wasn't interested either. This is the first property in my renting experience that I've ever had to complain about... And now be out of pocket due to the need to leave early can't sleep with ladybirds on your face and in the bed with you. No shower for two days because they swarm at you.. bad enough brushing teeth and weeing with them sat on your legs.

Easy to access. Great location for what we needed. Lovely grounds. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Didnt use all facilities but what we did use was good. Hoping to book on a yearly basis.
