Villa Lavinia Nocelle

The villa itself was lovely, clean and homely with stunning views and very peaceful. The bus service was a life saver, regular and really close by. The villa company were very helpful providing a taxi and porter service, especially in the early hours for us to get back to Positano to get our airport shuttle. There is a little shop by the villa and a couple of restaurants.

I think the villa company should provide a welcome pack with simple questions answered. I had to whatsapp them quite a lot - sometimes had to wait a day to get an answer and it takes up a lot of time! Also, no taxi company will come up to the villa, I think I tried 10 in total. Kept saying it's too far out for them!

Absolutely stunning views and two beautiful decks overlooking the ocean and the Amalfi coast. The house had Mediterranean and Italian flare beautiful tile work and fantastic facilities for our group of five.

Beautiful property, amazing view! We went with our two children 16 and 20. Bedrooms on separate floor lots of space. The property had everything we needed and more! I can’t explain the breathtaking view - balcony from the top bedroom and lounge and patio with a utility room with washing machine on the lower floor with loungers and dining table. It was beautiful in the evening lit up overlooking the ocean and the yachts surrounded by the mountains - so peaceful away from the madness of positano and the busy roads. The village is stunning but very high up and its not easy access - so many steps or the bus! I would still recommend even with the hassle to get up there. A little deli shop in the village ran by Maria selling fresh bread (that arrives at 10am :)) cheeses, meats, wine and you can sit out at the back of the shop for a coffee looking at the dramatic view of the mountains and forest! The property everything amazing like it all! The bus and getting up to Nocelle - it was crazy and packed full stood up sweating on each other! We went for 12 nights but if we had been there for less we probably wouldn’t have minded too much. We are fit but you couldn’t walk up the 1700 steps each night after the steps everywhere else its too much and the taxi driver charges 80 euros as they don’t want to go up! Still would stay in Nocelle even with the bus as the villa beautiful but would have split the stay maybe so lower down for some of the trip.

Too much stairs , if you have knee problems , this is not for you , It is quite old house and it smelling Especially the kitchen, if you can carry 20 kg you can carry your luggage otherwise you have to get a porter who takes 25 euros of one suitcase.

The view is exceptional. One can spend the whole holiday admiring the view. The path of gods was just beside the property. Two amazing restaurants and a hike to positano town center. Pro tip : if you take a bus to reach positano, get down at positano sponda. It will show a 30 min walk from there. There is a small local bus running every half n hr from positano to nocelle. Wait for that bus if you dont have a bike or car.

It more of a tip. Do not carry suitacases. Rather carry backpacks as there are a number of stairs you need to take to reach the property. If you havr big suitacases, keep them in you car at the nocelle public car park and get some clothes everytime you go to the bus stand

Love the space, quiet location

Location. Its too far from Positano central. Bus yes, but it takes 30-40 mins and the road is very narrow.

Great views! Cute town.
