"Clean, friendly! Fungi Farm down the road for amazing Brekkie!"

Perfect location for exploring the local areas of Dawlish Warren, Dawlish, Exmouth etc. easy to locate by car, plenty of parking, very easy check-in process, and super friendly staff - who were able to provide me with a sewing kit when I needed to sew an item of clothing. Room was basic with dated decor but extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. Huge fan in the cupboard which was great for the warm weather nights. Bathroom again dated but again spotless! Perfect stay for a weekend for a family wedding nearby. Def check out Fungi Farm around the corner for an amazing breakfast!!!

Decor could do with a bit of a modern touch, but not essential. Bigger supply of shower gel would be handy. Better curtains to block the morning light, esp in the summer months.

"Fairly expensive for a mid-range hotel"

The location was ideal being next to the NCN route 2. The room was fine; fairly standard mid-range hotel room.

We were kept awake by lots of noise; creaking floorboards which sounded like they were above us, but must have been from the corridor as there wasn't another floor. Also voices of people also sounded like it was coming from above, but must have been people in the corridor. We didn't like the look of the food choices, so we opted to eat in the town and went to a local bakery for breakfast (both good options, although quite a long (but pleasant) walk into Dawlish for dinner). Overall it felt very expensive for what it was, although we were only staying one night and didn't use the pool, so you might get better value for a longer stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Well presented & your staff are all good. The morning smiles make a difference & the ability to help positively makes a difference.

We pay a lot so charging £4.40 for the car to be parked is bit of an administrative exercise that shouldn't be necessary. It's hard to reach the hotel by public transport so I guess that most people come by private car or taxi.

The pool area and play park is fantastic for children. The table tennis and tennis courts are an added bonus to the out door area. Plenty of seating outside with a beautiful view.

We would love to book again and for longer but it’s expensive.
