The pool was nice

Ooo dear where do you start the pool needs a wee brush round some plants in pots would help it as guest you was not made welcome at all was told cant go through one rooom to outside due to private function so found another wee door to get out then on return through that door was greeted by another private function which made me feel very uncomfortable the hotel is like faulty towers there is crap everywere and so old makes you feel old the room stunk of smoke and was very hot no fans available so could not sleep but was not able to sleep anyway as matttress was all springs and there was water flowing outside constantly which made this whole experience a total victorian nightmare if you like faulty towers this is the place for you p.s 10 pound a pint and water £5.50 for big bottle total rip off.

The location was great.

The rooms were tiny and too hot. It was very dated and dirty. A view of the bins and smell was very unpleasant. The carpets were disgusting. Avocado green bathroom suite, shower was tiny and the toilet didn’t flush. EVERYTHING was dated and just disgusting. Would not recommend.

Nothing

It was disgusting in every way. Room was old. Didn’t feel safe view looked onto a pile of broken wood and a rubbish bin. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Didn’t even sleep on the bed. Laid on top of sheets with my coat over me

Tim is an absolute legend. The most hospitable man I’ve ever met. His staff were excellent and friendly. Place is old fashioned and quaint. The hotel values high standards. It was always busy and booked. I had the best time. Thank you Tim for being so kind and for a marvellous time in Torquay.

Some of the bar staff sort of ignored me on occasion though my presence seemed clear. Ordering something wasn’t always easy.
