Hanaka Riverside Ubud

I had a perfect stay at Hanaka Riverside in Ubud! The place is peaceful and beautiful, with a wide pool where you can actually swim — not just get refreshed in the hot day 😂. And everything is spotless clean. The traditional breakfast was delicious in the morning. A special thank you to Gusde, who was always helpful, kind, and made the stay even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing time in Ubud!

What a dream! I absolutely loved my stay at Hanaka Riverside Ubud. The canopy of jungle on the other side of the river was stunning, and the perfect, relaxing backdrop from room or pool. I upgraded to Room 2, on the upper level, as it had it's own private balcony (with desk, coffee table and chairs), ideal for a spot of morning yoga, and received lots of natural light from the additional windows! The communal kitchen (with free drinking water!) and dining area offers a unique and special touch, giving guests additional spaces from which to enjoy the view and magical ambience. The pool and gazebo were also gorgeous and inviting!

As other reviewers have mentioned, larger people, or people with mobility issues might struggle with the smaller bathroom, however I would emphasise that it was clean and well equipped, with lovely hot water. The trade off for the serenity, is a 5-10min scooter to down town Ubud, but Grabs/Gojeks are very cheap and convenient for trips in and out, so don't consider this a significant 'con' - but worth keeping on your radar :)

A little sanctuary quiet. The staff were very helpful walking us past the street dogs and came out to meet us on our return home to walk us past the dogs.

We loved the atmosphere of the property, in the heart of the jungle💕 also the pool area and the garden was really nice and the staff was always really kind to us! It totally meets our expectations.

Only the location was a bit strange, it was hard to find for the first time and had to walk in the dark at night in small streets to reach it.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming made our stay really nice, helped us with our luggage too. Room was perfect and very clean the maid does a great job. It's on a quiet street so very peaceful, pool was beautiful too. Bike rental was great too no issues. Would definitely stay again when we are back in ubud!

Some reviews do mention stray dogs in a nearby property, the dogs are fine to walk past they just bark but if you are unsure/uncomfortable the staff will help you enter/exit, so no real issue at all!

My stay here was lovely! The staff were so friendly and helpful. They cleaned my room every day and were really kind. I would 100% recommend. The location is really handy, because you can get into central Ubud easily or the other direction to the rice fields. I came here as a solo traveller and felt very safe.

Great for me. About a mile to central Ubud. Away from noise. Set back away from road. All pluses for me, but maybe not for some. Staircase stairs are higher than most. Could be challenging for older or impaired people

The staff were incredible, extremely responsible and helpful with everything we needed. Even when the dogs outside made us nervous the staff came out to help us. Thank you Dewa for all your help! They had scooters available to rent at the property and do the proper checks I.e you driving license and make sure you take photos of the wcooter before you head off with it. The facilities were perfect for us, swimming pool was amazing and the view great too. Room was cleaned everyday.

The property was a little difficult to find as it’s off of the main road down an alley, but once you know where it is there isn’t a problem. The staff came out to great us and help with the bags.
