Beach Club Apartments

Cute multistorey house with 3 apartments, one on each floor & balcony with 360 view on the top, in quiet area, walking distance from beach. Very cozy place with great host Ankie, they even helped us with transport to next location.

We stayed only one night, will def stay longer next time we visit :)

Warm, personal welcome by the owner,excellent service by Mahli, secure access, strong WiFi and air conditioning and great location. Satellite TV was a bonus, bed was comfy and the bathroom toiletries were appreciated and of excellent quality. Several mins walk takes you to a lovely Beach Club restaurant with beautiful ocean views, complimentary sunbeds (go early for shade/ umbrella) and discounted food and drink (10%). The owner Ankie, was extremely helpful and available for ideas, lagoon tours, transport....all in all we had a lovely stay. Breakfast is served by Mahli on the top floor on the roof terrace, and is good with your choice of eggs , yoghurt, fruit plate and toast. Sri Lanka breakfast and dinner available upon request for a supplement. Honesty bar for beer is a lovely touch!

We liked everything. A clothes dryer outside would be a useful facility if staying for a few days but Mahli arranged a washing line , thank you!

Accueil et suivi de notre séjour très pro de la part d'Ankie qui nous a aidé et proposé des sorties sur l'ensemble du séjour. L'établissement est très bien tenu avec des propositions de diners très sympa. Les chambres avec salon sont grandes et bien équipées.

Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Ankie und Maheel waren überragend. Auch im Vorfeld sehr gute Kommunikation mit Ankie.Alles hat bestens geklappt.Ob ein gebuchtes Taxi oder Tuk Tuk, wir konnten uns immer auf sie verlassen, dabei immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Appartement im zweiten Stock war sehr schön,vor allem der große Balkon und der "Rundumblick"in den Dschungel. Nur ca.200 Meter zum Meer gibt es den Beach Club mit freien Liegen am Traumstrand für die Gäste von den Appartments,den man fast für sich alleine hat. Das Essen ist dort auch sehr gut,das Personal sehr freundlich, alles sehr geschmackvoll und sauber eingerichtet. Der Strand ist wenig frequentiert und sehr schön auch für lange Strandspaziergänge geeignet. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden und können es für ein paar Tage schönsten Strandurlaubes auf der traumhaften, interessanten Insel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Lieben Dank nochmals an Ankie und Maheel, sie haben unseren ersten, positiven Eindruck von Sri Lanka umso mehr mit ihrer Herzlichkeit verstärkt.

Очень хорошо оборудованные апартаменты, Всё продумано до мелочей, вплоть до принадлежностей в душе. Мебель и сантехника всё новое, что очень не часто можно встретить на Шри-Ланке. Нам понравилось почти всё. Ребёнок был в восторге от интернета, смотрел видео без проблем. Утром будили нас крики обезьян, семья которых живёт на деревьях напротив дома. Мы гуляли по сельской местности, до ближайших храмов видели много разных птиц и животных.

Ничего плохого не могу вспомнить. Для нас проживание было просто чудесным.

Die sehr nette Gastgeberin und der sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Lage war auch optimal, da nicht zu weit weg vom Strand aber auch nicht zwischen Touristen-Hochburgen. Das Essen im dazugehörigen Beach Club ist auch zu empfehlen! Das Zimmer selbst war sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber.

I spent two nights here at the end of a whistle-stop tour of Sri Lanka. It was such a great place to relax before heading to Colombo for a late-night flight. We had a warm welcome from Ankie and Maheel before being shown our apartment. We were so happy with it! It was light, airy and everything felt like new. There’s a balcony overlooking treetops, from which we saw a variety of birds, then bats at dusk. It was Singhal and Tamal New Year, and Maheel gave us a generous spread of sweets made by his wife – we were blown away! Each day started with a delicious breakfast on the roof, prepared by Maheel: lots of fresh fruit – including mango – omelette and good coffee. It was raining on our first morning and we discovered later that the poor man had got soaked looking for a bakery that wasn’t closed for the New Year. What a legend! We had a slap-up lunch at Beach Club Restaurant, the sister business, taking advantage of a 10 per cent discount off the food. It was so good, we went back another day. The apartments aren’t on the beach, but it’s only a 5–10-minute walk. Ankie was a great hostess, very easy-going. She got in touch via WhatsApp before our visit to see if we needed help with transport or anything else, which was thoughtful. She also allowed us a late check-out, which we really appreciated – otherwise, we’d have had to spend several hours at the airport. Many thanks to Ankie and Maheel for such a lovely stay!

The accommodation was perfect. There was nothing to complain about. The rooms were very high-quality, very clean and well-maintained, and lovingly furnished. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared, and served on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view. The host was very kind and attentive. The staff member Mahil is the nicest person we met in Sri Lanka and always provided excellent service! Overall, it was a 10/10, and the price-performance ratio is great. We would gladly come again—clear recommendation!
