The only good thing about this place was the location. Easy to get to other places and some really good beaches a short drive away. We had wifi and the size of the property was decent but that was about it.

The house we were allocated was directly behind the leisure centre. Initially everything looked ok. One of the two external doors wouldn’t lock. I don’t know what was up with the mechanism as it would lock when the door was open but as soon as you closed the door the lock wouldn’t turn all the way. I went to the check in desk and reported it, this was within the first three hours of being on site. Was told that maintenance would be there to sort it asap. Went about our evening and returned to the house. The next morning we decided we would have a day on site and to wait for maintenance, we waited. And waited. And waited. Over the week we were there maintenance never arrived. It seems like the safety and security of their customers isn’t actually a priority. In order to enjoy our holiday I ended up putting a chair up against the door (it was the back door that had half the door as windows) in order to make it look like we weren’t using it. I still felt very uncomfortable leaving the house unlocked so we never ventured far and were only ever out for 4 hours maximum in a day. I am a DV survivor and this whole thing put my anxiety through the roof, safety should always be the highest priority. There were multiple lights that didn’t work or flickered, black mould growing in the kitchen window sill and en suite shower tray. With being behind the leisure centre we had to deal with the air conditioning units going all night and the music was left on in the gym all night with the windows left open. Beds were hard and pillows were flat, hard and well used. And on the 4th day there were ants downstairs. I honestly wish I had booked elsewhere, I came away anxious, stressed and exhausted.

The property was spacious and well suited for our group of four adults and five children. The house was generally clean, well maintained, and provided enough space for everyone to relax comfortably.

The weather was quite hot during our stay, and the property did not have air conditioning or adequate cooling. When we opened the windows, the flies and small insects came inside. The beds were also not very comfortable, and the mattresses felt warm. I experienced itching during my stay, which made me question the cleanliness of the bedding.
