Well located property in the heart of Gion. Great view of the pagoda from upstairs room.

Lack of towels and servicing of the rooms (had to pay extra to have this done). Great property but thought it was a little expensive.

- Perfect location within the historic Gion district incl. great view of the pagoda from the room. - very clean place. - nice room design incl. western as well as traditional japanese elements. The bathroom was breathtaking. - Traditional japanese breakfast delivered to the room.

"Fantastic Stay!"

Location couldn’t be any better. Yasaka Pagoda is right at your doorstep and it’s only a 10 minute walk up to Kiyomizudera. Right in the middle of all the attraction sites yet feels quiet and peaceful once we were back in our unit. Check in to check out process was seamless and the host was extremely accommodating. Very clean and spacious- useful for families travelling together. Airconditioning was top notch, and we looked forward to returning back each time (we travelled in summer)x We stayed in rooms 2 and 8 - both were lovely in their own way.
