Westport Estate Glamping Village

Facilities/ activities for kids. Restaurant etc on site, clean yurt, close to westport town.

Heater in the yurt, cleaner showers.

It’s a beautiful setting conveniently close to the middle of town but very quiet as it’s in the demense of Westport House. Tent was very comfortable and had an amazing sleep there. The sauna and jacuzzi are a nice touch although optional extras. The discounts for the activities also a nice bonus.

The kitchen and shower / loo facilities are basic and shared with all the other campsites so not upto the “glamping” moniker or the standard of the tents. No towels being supplied is one big oversight.

Beautiful tent, very comfy

The kitchen was dirty and bad smell. Not enough staff around to ask questions eg we wanted to use the spa facility but weren't sure if my daughter would be able to use it but no one around who knew the answer. The restaurants were empty and coffee van wasn't open until 10am so had to go into westport Town for food and drink.

Was a cute little glamping area. Nice area for the kids to run around and play. Lovely setting.

You have to pay extra for EVERYTHING. Even to use the camp kitchen cooking facilities. Cutlery and crockery in the picnic basket wasn't clean. I had a glass of red wine spilled all over me by staff (that's ok, accidents happen) but no compensation at all, cost me over €10 to wash and dry my clothes. Activities should be cheaper if paying a premium to stay at the glamping area.

Glamping tent was great and beds were very confortable

Bathroom and toilet was shared with camping space. For the more expensive glamping we should have separate bathroom and maybe kitchen space.
