Skyview Retreat Spacious Comfort

Nothing except a greeting from the host on what's app about collecting keys from the lock box. Got two videos about how to heat the flat and for hot water.

- Both toilets had broken sinks and a broken bathtub - The property is completely rundown - The MCB circuit tripped on its own, and the owner refused to come and sort it out. - The owner pretended to be out of the city, then magically came back the next day and tried to blame us. 2 good sized bedroom & a main bathroom. The bed we stay on was very comfortable & clean. Apartment was equipped with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Good natural lighting, as there are floor to ceiling windows. Bus stop shops & shopping centre’s very close by too. Parking & access to the property was very easy. Key collecting was simple too.

I didn’t know I had to heat the water myself, so I’m the morning I had to have a cold shower. Not that big a deal for me tho.

Big livingroom and nice kitchen.

The bedsheet looked a bit dirty but it smelled clean. The sink is broken. The carpet in the bedroom needs to be replaced. Overall functional but not a good impression.

The lift was handy, as we had two pensioners in their 80's, as we had to go up to the 2nd floor.

This was a Flat, in a block of flats, at a VERY VERY busy X roads, it was noisy and parking was a nightmare, having to find a space on a very busy street, a bit of a lottery, really. Why it is called skyview retreat, i have absolutely NO idea, we looked on to another block of flats opposite in one direction and a very busy commercial road on another view. It is NOT a retreat, a retreat to me, is somewhere quite and peaceful. THIS WAS NOT, at all. The photos on the website are NOT all genuine photos of this location, at all. The bath panel was broken and in a dangerous condition, could easily had cut someone. The hot water was a night mare as well. no instructions for it or heating or internet etc. had to contact the owner numerous times and could Not make out much, due to his foreign accent. Bedrooms could do with bed side tables and lamps, in each. A coffee table in the lounge would be useful. Side plates for food, would have been nice. Decoration was very bland and plain.

Easy to find, easy communication, great location for stopover before an early flight. Clean and comfy

Bed frame old, but it’s ok. Bathtub in common bath little broken. Toilet seat broken.
