Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with lots of nice touches.

There is only the Hotel cafecto eat in Spittal. We went to Berwick to eat using the local bus which is great.

"Nice hotel right by the beach"

The hotel was directly by the beach, next to a small playground and boardwalk. There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and the hostess was very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfy and the bathroom seemed quite modern with new facilities. The room was nicely decorated and had a wooden floor instead of a carpet, which was pleasant as there was less dust.

There was only one pub within walking distance, and to reach restaurants you had to drive into town. In addition, the restaurants are all extremely busy and you absolutely need to have a reservation to visit them if you want to eat before 8 PM.

We were not offered breakfast when booking the hotel. We were told that breakfast was available only when we got to the hotel.
