Cotswold self-catering apartment

Reasonable for the area. Clean and helpful host.

Could do with a new matress. I think you may have an issue with a roof tile or guttering as in the wind there was a lot of noise. Granted it was very Windy.

Nice quiet location. Spacious for a loft flat. Had a small kitchen so you can make/heat up food. Host was lovely and gave good instructions on how to get in/out. Easily contactable for queries. Good strong wifi Plenty of parking space

The shower was a bit lukewarm. Slightly tricky to find the location on waze/google maps. Perhaps a what three words might help

The apartment and crockery/cutlery, etc. were clean. We liked the apartment generally.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The sofa was very uncomfortable. The steps to the apartment were very steep with shallow treads due to the steepness. Possibly my error in not checking fully but I thought the apartment was nearer to the town centre. Sink/washbasin hot water was fine; however, the shower was only luke warm. I messaged the owner on Friday evening who said he adjusted the boiler that evening. I messaged on Saturday morning to say the temperature was the same. He said he would get his plumber to it on Monday. We were leaving the apartment on Sunday morning. My wife has until recently managed houses, cabins and apartments for tourists in a busy tourist town and I have provided maintenance support to those properties. We were not impressed by our experience in this apartment.

Very clean nicely presented property.

Bit far from nearest shops and pub/restaurants road/track to property needs attention very rough on the car. As mentioned in a previous review the settee is uncomfortable think the seating/TV area needs a bit more thought and a decent mirror wouldn't go a miss.

What a lovely place to stay we felt very safe with the electric gates being shut. Will definitely book it again next year x
