The deception of the photos, the worst shower we’ve ever had you couldn’t control the heating of it. very very bad water flow , It was either boiling hot or stone cold ,toilet seat was very loose, very dated bedding, and hard towels, soap dispenser slipped into the sink when pressing to release soap , which boke , would recommend replacing with plastic one ,as there are no shelves to put anything on , would never book that place again

Excellent location and nice apartment.

It was very clean and relatively quiet. It had full cooker, microwave and clothes washing machine. They were very helpful about dropping our bags early given our train arrival time. It was an OK location if you just wanted access to the railway station. The main living room was spacious but dining area overlooked by neighbours (as was bedroom).

The location was around the back of the station so a boring walk to the town centre or half hour bus service. The bedroom was tiny so the bed on one side was against the wall and not terribly comfortable (the linen and towels were well used). People could come straight off the street to the door of the apartment and there was no peephole- it made us feel unsafe not knowing what was happening outside the flat. Some things were not as we would expect which was disappointing, such as the loo seat not being fixed properly, the clothes airer being broken and the kitchen lacking a tin opener. Generally given the price we paid in Glasgow for something much more central and comfortable it was not good value for money. Disappointing given the much better experience we have had in Perth on a previous visit.

At first sight from the street there were some doubts, the apartment being in an old building with a rather scruffy grey door leading to a stone-flagged corridor. However, once in the apartment it was modern, clean and comfortable. Being at the back of the building, it was quiet and looked onto a small, well tended garden. The bed was comfortable and the lounge and kitchen well equipped for a short stay. The fish and chip company on the railway bridge was excellent.

The heater controls in the lounge were broken, apparently having had something jabbed into them and really need to be replaced. The other heaters in the apartment worked properly. The apartment was described as having "ample, free on street parking". Although there were certainly a lot of spaces, the area is one of flats, with a school nearby and the station just 5 minutes walk away, which meant that parking could better be described as "competitive". After driving around for 15 minutes I eventually parked two streets away, although I did manage to bring the car a little nearer later in the evening. However, over the 3 days I was there I was never able to park on the actual street where the apartment was. In my opinion, it would be better suited to people travelling by train.

Great location, peaceful and looking out into a garden . Well fitted out and so clean and comfortable. Great!
