I liked the outlay of the property

Die Küche war sehr gut. Hatte alles drin bis auf Weingläser. Der Landlord war sehr nett und bemüht. Die Müllsituation müsste man von Anfang an aufklären. Ansonsten hatte man Netflixzugang und der Weg zum Einkaufen war nur 100m zum Sainsburry und ca. 500m zur Wasserlinie. Waschmaschine ist vorhanden.

Die Abwasserleitungen könnten besser sein. Es roch teilweise stark nach Abwasser. Das Problem war wohl der Ablauf an der Dusche. Die Eisentreppe ist nicht einfach zu nehmen um an das Bett zu gelangen. Hier könnte man sich überlegen eine Wendeltreppe einzubauen. Safety first. Ich bin gut trainiert und hatte keine Schwierigkeiten damit. Die Kleidung unterzubringen war anfänglich schwierig. Landlord hat dann eine Kleiderstange, Bügel, Gestell zum Wäsche trocknen und ein Bügelbrett besorgt. Das war gut. Ein Schrank wäre besser. Aber das überlasse ich dem Landlord.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is extremely well located, convenient walk to train, busses, shopping and dining! The owner was quickly responsive answering questions. We were a bit chilly upon arrival due to jetlag, etc, and the owner was quick to sort it out. Everything was fresh and clean and the washing machine is very convenient. Do be aware there's a ladder to climb to the loft. There is a fold out sofa if you're not comfortable climbing the ladder. There was nothing lacking! Television was easy to operate. We were greatly for the coffee press it made us feel at home!

Very near to the town

Nice location, very close to the sea (10 min walk). A nice space with great decor. Having a small kitchen area was great, although we were too busy to make use of it. Bathroom was really nice.

I loved the bed upstairs. If you’re not keen on heights, or climbing up a steep ladder, you may need to ask them to make up the sofa bed on the ground level.

Lovely quirky property, good location- had all we needed - love the beautiful wisteria!

Mezzanine was slightly low for my tall partner but otherwise very comfy bed

It was very close to the station and high street. The property was spacious and clean.

The main issue was the bedroom is only accessible by a metal ladder like one you get out of a swimming pool. A metal one. We didn’t realise this and we were horrified. We just couldn’t get up there. It’s really high in the loft space. It’s also all open ended no safety features. There is a sofa bed but it’s really just for one adult and maybe 2 kids. My husband who’s 70 ended up sleeping on the concrete floor on a couple of sofa cushions for 2 nights, The place doesn’t look finished yet. I’m sure it’ll be lovely eventually. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything you need (if you’re young fit and can climb a ladder) I didn’t take my hair dryer. There’s a tiny travel one but I couldn’t style my hair with it. There was no hot water Sunday. I took a cold shower. The other days water was ok but never really hot enough. It’s a great location by the shops and harbour, The owners are absolutely lovely and if they’d been around I’m pretty sure they’d have helped us but they’d gone on holiday, It could do with some rugs to make it less concrete. Sadly we won’t return. But I see there’s loads of good reviews. It’s quirky and cute. Just not for us.
