Citystay Apartments Century City

The property is clean and in a beautiful location. The staff I dealt with was friendly and efficient.

The limited TV. The apartment only has Openview with absolutely nothing to watch. I used my laptop to watch tv. This is the only reason I'm not likely to book this apartment again. The other apartments I stayed at Knightsbridge did not have this problem.

24 hour gate security so when you enter you already feel very safe. Excellent location, walking distance to a very large mall where you enter through the food court so it is easy just to go quickly to find something to eat. The apartment had a lovely view over the canal and the city. Facilities are great and I was not left wanting for anything, some minor maintenance issues though. It is the best private pool / gym area I have ever seen while on holiday. The pool is heated and the gym has more than one of all the machines you could want with a section for weight training. Although cleaning service was offered for our short stay, we did not feel the need to use it.

I was expected to send information prior to check-in and it is actually done in advance which makes me uncomfortable. Fortunately everything is as advertised and we had no issues.

The cutlery taps did not work due to a blocked filter. The warm water tap is completely blocked in the kitchen. I manage to clean the filter but still no warm water.

Location was fine

Bed was uncomfortable 🥴. Sofa seemed to be a bit itchy. Staff was delayed to respond to customer complaints.

i was met on arrival by a representative of the host. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The amenities where quite adequate and the proximity to the Canal Walk Mall meant I could get around easily to do whatever shopping I needed.

I stayed for 5 nights and the sheets were not changed. It would be better to have a cleaner every other day and add the cost to guests bill.

The location & access to the indoor swimming pool

The living room & kitchen area floor was dirty on arrival. Shower flow was not adequate. We were delayed & the host had a hostile response to my statement that check in was from 14.30 & when I advised I was delayed, part of the response was that we not the only guest. We didn’t have any food serving dishes. I asked the cleaner who also did the check in to remove a dirty carpet in the room. Sakina was great & friendly.
