DESehr gepflegtes Haus bei einer freundlichen Familie. Der Kühlschrank durfte genutzt werden, es gab extrem preisgünstiges indisches Frühstück sowie Abendessen gegen Aufpreis.Wunderbar did Blumenterrasse und der schattige Balkon bei Zimmer 2. Ich konnte einen kleinen Frühstückstisch mit Wasserkocher nutzen oder morgens in der Küche frühstücken. Die Vermieterin war sehr hilfsbereit und setzte mich auch ab und an mit dem Scooter ab, wo ich hin musste. Da noch ein zwei Zimmer mehr im Haus vermietet werden, hat man immer Gesellschaft von interessanten anderen alleinreisenden Frauen. Wie ein Hostel mit Zuhause-Ambiente.. Hat man sich die knapp 2 Kilometer zur nächsten Geschäftsstelle erst einmal eingeprägt, kann man zu Fuß Erkundungen und Besorgungen erledigen, auch abends und nachts allein sehr sicher. Handy mit Taschenlampenfunktion mitnehmen.Küchenbenutzung zum Kochen nach Absprache und gegen Gebühr.
Das Haus liegt in einem verwunschenen Vorgartenviertel voll improvisierter Pfade und Gassen, teils nicht asphaltiert, steil und voll Staub und Pfützen.Taxis finden sich nicht zurecht, Eigenes Fahrzeug und Ortskenntnis würden helfen. Es wird ein Scooter für 5 € pro Tag zur Miete angeboten. An den Wochenenden mitunter laute Partys im Hostel nebenan, aufheulende Scootermotoren.etc.

ESI felt very comfortable! The bedroom was nice and had a beautiful balcony, and the host was very kind and helped me a lot. :)
The only thing I would say is that it’s a bit far from the main attractions, so you have to rely on cabs.

INGreenery with lot of plants, cleanliness, the host Bindhu is a very warm and welcoming host that makes you feel at home, the caretaker Penny also. The breakfast served was very good. The bathrooms were very clean.
INThe hosts were proactive in communication, from the moment I booked this homestay. I stayed for two nights. The hosts arranged pickup and drop off for me - which is highly appreciated. The hosts also arranged half a day site seeing tour for me - though this wasn't their responsibility. Bindu and Lihin made sure that I was comfortable. It is very safe place for solo women travellers. Cleanliness and internet was excellent. Bindu even offered me her "mundu" for the visit to Padmanabh temple. That was very kind of her. I enjoyed traditional Kerala breakfast.
Some ideas for improvement - I will communicate those directly with the hosts. I think there is nothing that I didn't like.
