Nice and clean room.

No water in the evening. And in the morning only cold water. They knocked really hard on our door at 9:45 am in the morning to ask if we would stay another night. But check out time was only at 12 am

"A budget-friendly uphill stay offering scenic views and close to city buzz"

7.0

The homestay is relative cheaper and close to Munnar Bus Stand and Munnar city centre, making it convenient for stay, shopping, exploring decilious local foods (including steamed string hoppers with nonveg curry), and transportation. The property lies uphill and gives you a good view of Munnar, with abundance of flowering and some fruit-bearing plants in the backdrop. A small garden shop nextdoor to the property is worth visiting. The rooms are airy, clean, and has enough space to accomodate a family. The highlight of the property is its beautiful balcony, providing you a comfy place to retire and relax and enjoy the views, especially during morning hours. The property had WiFi, but cable television was not working, which is a temporary drawback, and the owner is getting this recified soon. The property provides free potable RO water, both hot and cold, giving us peace of mind of not having to be bothered by running out of water, especially at late night. We plucked a few ripened avacado fruits at the premises (with the supervisor's permission) and took them as a souvenir. The only concern (or drawback) regarding the property is you need to hike some 30 to 40 steps uhpill to reach the property. If you are not robust or if you are elderly person, it is better to avoid this property. If you're healthy as a horse and love hiking, getting to and descending from the property will provide you some viewing thrills which is not otherwise possible. If get down from the property and go for a walk, you will have access to shops providing you aromatic oils (including frozen coconut oil), natural soaps (Goat milk soap or Alovera bars and the like), a wide range of natural and flavored teas, homemade chocolates (both brown and white), plenty of local sweets and savories. The propety staff, upon request, will arrange for autos or tuk-tuks or can even provide you a guided tour or jeep safaris.

The property receptionist/supervisior will not be available in the premises all the time. If you have any concerns, you need to call them over phone and wait for them to come from their separate office located downhill.
