1 Bed Ancoats Canalside Flat City Centre

Location is great. Really accessible to metrolink

Property was dusty when we got it, sink was filled with dirty water because the drain was blocked (we had to report to the owner and wait for the worker to sort it out. It took a day or two to be fixed), drain on the bath tub was slow too, utensils and other kitchenware were dirty, rubbish from previous renter were still at the couch and bedside, linens should be replaced as they are old already there were holes. The owners did not advise us that there was an ongoing construction. It was too noisy and bothersome since we were travelling with a baby.

Great location! Some wine bars a short walk from apartment and a nice walk along canal will take you to city centre.

Arrived at 10.30pm to find buckets & bowl & dirty sheet & towel catching water leaking through ceiling in lounge area next to tv & electric sockets. Smell of damp & wet floor. Had constant dripping or worse throughout 3 night stay so little sleep. Had to empty buckets & mop floor regularly- all totally unacceptable. No assistance or action by owners, just an apology. Plus dirty & worn cutlery & crockery, torn curtain, cracked kitchen units, fluff balls in folding door ( almost impossible to open & close as so heavy). No remedial action on previous feedback ie. no bedding for sofa bed, no blinds or curtains on most windows. A most unpleasant stay. Totally unacceptable. Booking.com need to remove it !

The bed was comfortable was spacious

There was a mop bucket catching water from the ceiling the leak didn’t stop we weren’t aware that there was a leak before going we had to empty the mop bucket many times didn’t really want to leave apartment incase it flooded have messaged staff heard nothing back.didn’t get hardly any sleep because the dripping was that loud it was next to all electricals too

The property was in a very good location for walking into town for our night out with friends. It was also very light and airy and comfortable.

Loved the outlook with windows on three sides overlooking the canal. The design & layout were both super cool. Great location very near to Manchester Piccadilly Station.

Living room, with sofa-bed in it (for our daughter) could have had blinds at all windows, as very bright from 5am!
