Riverside Lodge in Killiecrankie

Peaceful and quiet location but also very convenient for the A9 near Pitlochry which made it perfect and central for us. Much better than a travel lodge or hotel, it was great to feel independent and relaxed. Warm, cozy, well furnished and appointed to a good standard. Good WiFi too. Very friendly and helpful host.

Angela gave us excellent directions to the lodge, including a video of how to get there. Lodge was tucked away, in a lovely, quiet area, very well appointed, everything you needed for your stay. It was very clean & comfortable.

Short break for family birthday on the best weather ! This is a two bedroomed cabin a short drive from Killiekrankie . The cabin is spacious and could comfortably accommodate a family of four . There is a main living area with kitchen offset . Excellent communication from host Angela on how to get there . Found location no problem . You may need a car . Lovely walks if you don't have a car but you will need to stock up on groceries or walk a reasonable distance to Blair Atholl to eat out but it is do able . Quiet location and beautiful clean cabin which smelled lovely . Well equipped . Cabin has other cabins around so not too isolated . Great for listening to birds . Patio to back of cabin which is private and a bit of a sun trap in the good weather . Tv has Netflix for those days when it is raining . Loved the visits from the wee dogs from the farm !

Not the best view as looks onto a grassy hill but surrounding countryside is beautiful . You cannot see the river as it is obscured by trees but it is only a short walk . No issues with the water pressure when we were there . Although no lock on bathroom door . Good storage in one room but not in other .

Absolutely gorgeous lodge and location 🙂 Would highly recommend. Perfect getaway to enjoy the peace and quiet. Will definitely be returning again someday soon.Had everything you could ask for and the double bed was so comfortable 🤗
