Directions were poor, signage poor and not particularly clean

It was a lovely, comfortable lodge. Photos don't do it justice. So peaceful. Stunning walks nearby. Owners so accommodating and fantastic communication. Will definitely be back.

10 mins drive to Pitlochry

Poor location,single track road leading to the lodge is route to nearby quarry.Constant stream of lorries, not suitable for walking. Inadequate heating for this time of year (November) Lodge was cold. No toilet paper on arrival this caused a great deal of discomfort to say the least. The owner didn't have the decency to reply after we messaged them. We had paid for two nights but only stayed the one, so a waste of money. Very disappointing.My advice would be to give this place a miss.

The cleanliness was terrible, most of the kitchenware was dirty including most of the plates and oven tray. The kettle was unusable with a gunky buildup inside it and the cheese grater still had cheese in it. Under the bed there was a vape and the room had clearly not been cleaned well. Also found a sock left behind. There was also little to no toilet paper nor anywhere to get more. For £170 a night I expect compensation.

Comfortable, clean and lovely lodge in a nice quiet area not far from action

Very homely and comfortable. Everything that was needed. Very very clean.
