Sibayak Multinational Rest House

The garden and the buildings are nice from the outside, but inside it is very run down. With just a little effort it could be a really nice place. Good location for a trip to the volcano.

There were no sheets, just a smelly blanket. The windows couldn’t really close. The bathroom was very run down.

The young girl we interacted with most was really friendly and nice and she helped us out with hiring a scooter Once we had changed room, the room was spacious clean and the bed was nice

The lady who ran the place was incredibly pushy about selling us her tour The budget room that we booked was in a bit of a state and we were offered a better room (at considerable extra cost)

Cool temperature of Berastagi and pretty garden outside

This place is ok for one night to sleep, but it is not very clean or comfortable. The beds are quite old and firm. The bathroom was dirty. The sink had brown water coming out as if it had not been turned in for a long time. The window did not lock in my room and my guide asked the staff for a different room for me that had a locking window. The one girl acted like an immature teenager stomping and irritated that I should have such a request. She banged on the window and would not easily accept that it could be pulled open from the outside. After asking for a different room, she finally gave me a different room. For the price of 285,000 IDR per night for a simple twin room, I expected much better.

Die Unterkunft war schön mit großen Zimmern und einem tollen Garten! Die Familie ist ein Traum. So liebe Menschen, ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt und das Essen war auch klasse!

Das Bad hatte nicht die beste Ausstattung.

You really feel like home over there! Family business since 3 and almost 4 generations, the staff is amazingly kind, fun and lovely! The food is delicious and affordable! The location is perfect to go trekking, and the place is very relaxing.

Just miss the hot shower, otherwise it would be perfect

What an amazing family that greets you in their home - It is so fun with them! If you want to go to Sibayak volcano, it’s a perfect starting point. If you want to rent a scooter - they will get one for you. I personally didn’t mind the cold shower - there are rooms with hot water. The room could use a little refreshment, but good value for the money. And they do prepare amazing food - try to get the passion fruit juice, definitely my favorite! If the weather is good, use their amazing garden for relaxation.
