Historic Hideaway Waterford City

Cosy, comfortable, spotlessly clean. Perfect for our family stay over Christmas. Santa Claus even managed to find us! Small but well equipped kitchen. Great tv. Located in a central area in Waterford city but not noisy at all. We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again.

Parking was difficult. No designated parking, only on street parking on a busy residential street. It would be a difficult property for an elderly person or someone with reduced mobility to access.

The house was so warm, cosy and inviting.

The house itself has a lovely colour palette and is modern . Kitchen is well supplied .

Upon checking in we were met with a rug on living room floor that someone had peed on , followed by double bed at front where throw and bed stank of pee . I must say Lydia was great when I rang and got it sorted quickly but made us more nervous about the other beds . The house is small and seating is limited so not very relaxing . The location of house was good as regards distance from town but was loud at night with fights between locals outside and us feeling the need to check our car to make sure there was no damage each morning . Shower temperature was up and down with low pressure . House needed a second bathroom as one not enough for three bedrooms .
